Will you be attending the RCN Congress 2018 hosted by the Royal College of Nursing in Belfast next month?

If so, we'll see you there, as the JustNurses team will be exhibiting at stand G3 throughout the event, which is set to be held at Belfast Waterfront from Saturday May 12th until Wednesday May 16th.

It's been an exciting time here at JustNurses over the last few months with the launch of our new website, and we're looking forward to catching up with contacts old and new at the RCN Congress 2018.

There's a jam-packed schedule for the event, which features everything from early-morning yoga sessions to improve your flexibility and alignment to talks on topics as wide-ranging as nursing and political influencing, keeping up with evidence in nursing and NHS pay - and that's just on the Sunday in the venue's Main Hall.

Discussions will also take place over the course of the event on sexual assault referral, person-centred self-care, caring for critically ill patients, and how women workers can manage the menopause.

It's certainly going to be a varied event, with other particular highlights set to include the Mary Seacole Lecture entitled 'leveraging leadership in the fight for inclusion' and an audience with the chief nursing officer for Wales, Professor Jean White CBE, who will be leading an interactive session addressing issues affecting nurses working in Wales.

Stuart Mackenzie, chair of congress at the RCN, said: "The agenda for RCN Congress is thought-provoking, contemporary and has a range of issues that I feel really define the purpose of the college.

"I hope it will stir members' political and professional senses."
