Our Nursing Recruitment Specialist and Managing Consultant Dan has been with the company for 12 years. He joined at the young age of 19, showing potential from the outset with his enthusiasm and hunger for success.
Dan has achieved so much over the years, playing a key role in starting up the nursing division and contributing massively to the growth of the business, especially in Northern Ireland, which lead to the opening of the JustNurses branch in Belfast.
We thought we would ask Dan a few questions to help you get to know more about him…
What do you enjoy most about working for JustNurses? My team are great to work with, we are a close-knit team, we all work well together and have great banter on the desk and like to play a few pranks on each other.
What is your career motivation? I’m very self-motivated, I am always striving to progress and be as successful as I possibly can be.
What would you say is your strong point? Building relationships with both my candidates and clients, I have built strong relationships over the years, which is what I believe has lead to the success of JustNurses.
What is your most memorable moment within your role? Helping one of my nurses relocate to Northern Ireland, I built a great relationship with her and now she works with us as our nurse manager.
What has been your most challenging experience in your role? Starting the nursing division from scratch, working long hours to build the candidate and client database to get it off the ground and continue the growth year on year.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I am sports mad, any kind of competitive sports I follow and sometimes like to have the occasional flutter. I’m in my element now the World Cup is on and… FOOTBALL’S COMING HOME! (fingers crossed)
